This place really fit our needs. In a quiet, middle range place in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Our main needs were comfort, wifi, breakfast, proximity. We got all of that. Staff were really nice and they felt homey. Especially Erica at the front. The night time staff were a bit young and not as experienced but they were still very nice. Breakfast was a full breakfast with all the fixings and more, different special dishes everyday along with cereal, oatmeal, eggs, sausages, potatoes, juice, toast, bagels, etc. Wifi was great (we are intl guests). The room was smallish, but it's a refurbished building and it's truly done well. Clean, smells good, paint and trimmings are good. Beds very comfy, housekeeping is good. The walls are thin though mind you we only noticed a couple times with a baby or someone talking as they leave their room. Subway is a 10-15 minute walk, no hills. There's food and places to see nearby. Quiet area, safe. Check in and check out was good, they responded to my messages thru booking.com. Bathroom was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels. This one had the best hotel bed I have stayed at in a long time. Simply amazing. Room was very clean. There are previous comments that there is not coffeemaker in the room, that has changed. There is now a coffeemaker and two complimentary bottles of water. The staff was very friendly which was appreciated. I needed to stay in Red Hook to take care of personal business. The location and price was perfect for me. There is a good lobster restaurant a few blocks away and an amazing deli that makes excellent sandwiches (only open for lunch) one block away. I was happy to find this hotel for when I need to stay in Brooklyn. Modest, nice, clean hotel at a good price.

The hotel is pretty easy reachable by car and metro. Around ten to 15 minutes away is a metro station. The hotel is nice, the breakfast buffet is a little spartanic, but that's not a big minus. Next to the hotel is a fire station, so don't wonder, if you hear sirens. A staff was nice and helpfull. All in all, I can't say anything negative about the hotel.

The room was spacious when compared to other NYC area hotels I've stayed at. Everything was very clean, and there were already extra towels without having to ask. This was one of the better "free breakfast" offerings I've seen, there was excellent variety and no powdered eggs. The parking area was perfect for accessability and ease of entry and exit.

Good value for your money, safe location across police station in a good partly industrial neighbourhood. 15 min walk to metro or ferry. Ferry from Red Hook to Manhattan or Brooklyn Park is great for weekdays with excellent city views. Clean room, friendly personnel. We stayed with 3 persons (also a 7y old) for a week and do recommend this place.
